We Came to Believe is a three-phase program. The first phase entails psychoeducation (mental) about the diseases of addiction and its adverse effects on the neurological system. In this phase of treatment, the individual is introduced to the 12 steps, cognitive behavioral therapy and self-esteem therapy.
The second phase offers individual sessions, group therapy, mindfulness and exercise. As the individual begins to heal from addiction, they will learn to incorporate coping skills, communication skills, and effective leadership skills to guide them individually onto their new journey.
Phase three focuses on recovery management, relapse prevention and spiritual rejuvenation. Connecting to resources to aide in this transitioning stage influences community collaboration. Leading each individual to choose the next path to take as they continue on their journey of recovery.
